(NASDAQ: MRCY, www.mrcy.com) confirmed that it has been awarded a multi-year contract from a leading aircraft manufacturer for c The mission computers will execute command and control (C2) functions for various airborne missions and platforms, and will be certified to DAL-A, the highest level of flight safety. Safety certification will include multicore and multiprocessor mission computer configurations.

The contract product development phase is being accelerated with Mercury’s ROCK-2 product line designed for mission critical and safety-critical applications. The development phase will be followed by a multiple-year manufacturing schedule and is expected to have an overall potential lifetime value of over $50M.
