VPX Packaging SolutionsAt LCR Embedded Systems our AoC family of rugged chassis and enclosures support VPX and SOSA aligned board payloads and are designed for widely available VITA 48.2 conduction cooled modules so you get the most out of the 48.2 ecosystem. Backed by a dedicated and seasoned team of industry experts who understand tough environmental challenges in defense electronics, the AoC line features air over conduction cooling that can be configured to meet your specific payload and I/O requirements. Designs support from 1 to 14 slots plus VITA 62 or custom power solutions that cool and protect with average per slot power dissipation of over 100W. The modular design allows configurations that easily accommodate removable drive bays and added space for optical cable bend radii. Custom I/O panels designed for your application are direct connected to the backplane to ensure optimal signal integrity and protect against expected high shock and vibration common in defense applications.

All LCR chassis are designed to meet a variety of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-167 and MIL-STD-901D test methods for guaranteed performance. Chassis include custom VPX backplanes or choose from one of our 45 designs which include VPX and SOSA aligned slot profiles in combinations supporting high speed signal applications.
