Chelmsford, MA — February 28, 2005 –TEK Microsystems, Inc. today announced that Janice M. Cirillo has joined the Company as director of operations. Ms. Cirillo, who reports to president/CTO Andrew Reddig, will focus on building the Company’s manufacturing organization, processes and resources to deliver world-class products. Ms. Cirillo will also lead the Company’s program to achieve ISO 9001 certification in 2005.
“Jan brings a successful track record of moving products from engineering to production and out to customers quickly while maintaining the high quality and reliability our customers have come to expect from Tekmicro. Her strengths in concurrent engineering, design for manufacturability and design for test are an excellent complement to our strengths in advanced product design,” said TEK Microsystems president/CTO, Andrew Reddig. “Jan has held senior operations and manufacturing positions at both start-up and large multi-national companies and has the right mix of experience and leadership to support our growth targets for 2005 and beyond.”
Ms. Cirillo was most recently director of manufacturing at Legra Systems of Burlington, MA, where she built the manufacturing operation from the ground up. She holds an MBA from Providence College and a Bachelor of Science, Electronics Engineering Technology from the New England Institute of Technology.
