Leading European supplier of embedded technologies, SDC Systems, will be exhibiting a new and innovative graphical interface development technology at AAE-2007 (Advanced Automotive Electronics Show), to be held at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon on January 31st.
The Tilcon Interface Development Suite is one of SDC’s latest products and enables engineers to develop powerful graphical user interfaces (GUI’s) for embedded systems such as telematic systems, man machine interfaces, consumer devices and medical systems.

The Tilcon IDS is a multi-platform user interface technology (GUI and HMI builder) that delivers robust, highly interactive user interfaces for real-time and embedded applications. The Tilcon solution is based on a scalable graphics kernel that manages all aspects of the display and user interaction as a service to distributed API clients and works directly with the native RTOS (such as VxWorks) and core graphics library (such as WindML, Win32, Photon and upcoming OpenGL ES). The Tilcon IDS also takes full advantage of the hardware platforms (such as SH4, PPC, ARM, XScale and X86) in order to enhance performance speed.
