SAN DIEGO – Jan. 10, 2006 – BiTMICRO Networks, Inc., maker of intelligent flash IDE/ATA, SCSI, and Fibre Channel solid-state disk storage solutions, today announced at the West 2006 show in San Diego, Cali., the completion of product certification of NextCom LLC’s next-generation mobile servers and workstations with BiTMICRO’s E-Disk® flash Solid-State Disks (SSDs).

NextCom provides next-generation mobile servers and workstations for power users. Its products are manufactured for advanced computing professionals working in intense and hostile conditions that require extreme processing capabilities. NextCom devices are routinely deployed in industries such as military, aerospace, test and measurement, gaming, development, graphics development, telecommunications, embedded computing, and emergency first response.

BiTMICRO Networks has made a mark in the military/industrial storage markets with its line of E-Disk® Fibre Channel, IDE/ATA, VME, and SCSI Wide and Narrow flash disks featuring random I/O rates of up to 11,700 IOPS and duplex burst read/write rates of up to 400 Mps. The E-Disk® flash solid state disk’s rugged design blends perfectly well with NextCom’s highly specialized requirements. Moreover, the wide array of interfaces and form factors available enables easy integration with NextCom’s mobile small-footprint servers, workstations, and notebooks.
