POWAY, Calif., May 8 — Intelligent Automation Corporation (IAC), proven leaders in aircraft Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS), were selected by the U.S. Air Force to develop a next-generation Engine Vibration Monitoring System (EVMS) for the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III’s F117-PW-100 engine.
IAC will design, develop, manufacture the C-17 EVMS which is based on the groundbreaking IAC 1134 SuperHUMS(TM), a patent pending, field programmable gate array-based (FPGA), reconfigurable computing technology. IAC’s EVMS is designed to support the very demanding reliability and maintainability specifications required by current operational requirements.
