OpenSystems Publishing Continues Leadership Role by Hiring Industry Veterans Jerry Bleich and Ernest Godsey
FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz., May 7, 2007 — OpenSystems Publishing (OSP), LLC, today announced the addition of two sales representatives: Jerry Bleich and Ernest Godsey, effective immediately. Jerry Bleich will be working with OpenSystems Publishing as East Coast sales manager. Ernest Godsey will be working as central and mountain sales manager.
OpenSystems’ expansion of their sales team reinforces their continuing effort to expand their publications and services serving the embedded computing industry.
“Both Jerry’s and Ernest’s advertising sales and industry expertise will enhance OpenSystems’ commitment to become the leader in both print and online embedded publications,” said Patrick Hopper, vice president of marketing and sales, OpenSystems Publishing. “We are excited to add such wealth of experience to the sales force and these new reps will enable the company to expand its account base and improve our service to our current customers,” he said.
Jerry Bleich brings a unique background of engineering, sales/marketing and publishing experience to OpenSystems Publishing. After military service and college, he spent more than a decade in electronic design and project engineering, including manufacturing support for a wide spectrum of passive and active components for both the commercial and military markets. After several years of component sales and marketing experience Jerry then shifted his focus to publishing and worked for Penton Media, Thomas Register, and the Internet-based Verticalnet/VertMarkets Websites. Jerry has represented the publications of Octagon Communications for the last six years.
Ernest Godsey has been involved in the design of embedded systems since microprocessors were first introduced more than 30 years ago. He has been active in the design and marketing of embedded systems for his entire career. For the seven years prior to starting Godsey Technical Associates, Ernest was the president of MEN Micro, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of MEN Mikro Elektronik GmbH. Prior to that, he was the vice president of business development at Interphase Corporation.
Ernest holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and is a registered Professional Engineer PE (inactive) in the State of Texas. He holds patents in areas as diverse as analog signal conditioning and computer architecture.
