LITTLETON, MA – November 7, 2011 — Curtiss-Wright Controls Electronic Systems (CWCES), a business group of Curtiss-Wright Controls and the premier Electronics Manufacturing Services provider in the Northeast US, has announced new additions to the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) capabilities provided at its Littleton, MA business operation. To better service its military, aerospace, defense, medical and industrial customers and broaden the services it offers as an on-shore contract manufacturer, CWCES recently added new, faster and more capable flying probe test equipment and new highly efficient Automated Optical Inspection equipment to its in-house development, test and manufacturing capabilities. This new equipment, combined with existing capabilities, allows CWCES to provide to customers a complete suite of test services unsurpassed in the marketplace.

“CWCES is proud to be a leader in providing proven low risk EMS services for our military and industrial customers,” said David Dietz, vice president and general manager of Curtiss-Wright Controls Electronic Systems group. “We’re pleased to announce the continued expansion of the EMS capabilities that our Littleton operation offers for high reliability EMS applications.”

Curtiss-Wright Controls Electronic Systems’ Electronics Manufacturing Services

Going beyond ordinary “assemble and solder” services, CWCES boasts a diverse team of in-house engineering expertise to provide the level of engineering support required for comprehensive Electronics Manufacturing Services. An experienced in-house test engineering group can develop test requirements and procedures as well as design and build any test equipment that is required. This investment in resources reduces customer risks and support costs and creates customer value beyond that provided by contract manufacturers who must rely on customer provided or third party test equipment.

In addition to the complete Electronics Manufacturing Services, CWCES offers:

· Test development, test equipment design and build

· Extensive Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)

· Contract design services and technology insertion capability

· Chassis, backplane and enclosure design- including ATR, custom and lab chassis
