SANTA CLARITA, CA – March 15, 2011 — Curtiss-Wright Controls Electronic Systems, a business group of Curtiss-Wright Controls and a leading designer and manufacturer of rugged deployed subsystems for the aerospace and defense market, has announced the establishment of a new sales and support office in Sterling Heights, MI located in the city’s “Defense Corridor”. Headquartered in Santa Clarita, CA, the Electronic Systems groups’ new office is staffed and located to best support its growing roster of locally based defense customers who focus on the development of combat vehicle systems to help protect the warfighter.

“Ground-based defense system developers increasingly turn to experienced system integration partners such as Curtiss-Wright Controls to help them get their critical solutions deployed as quickly and cost effectively as possible,” said David Dietz, vice president and general manager of Curtiss-Wright Controls Electronic Systems group. “In order to serve these customers with the most effective and dedicated support, we have opened a new conveniently located office that puts our experts right in the backyard of these exciting new programs.”
