Sohn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Inphi Corporation, is running as a candidate to serve on the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) board of directors for a three-year term in the Fabless Semiconductor representative category (www.gsaglobal.org).

Prior to joining Inphi, Mr. Sohn was President of Agilent Technologies’ Semiconductor Group (now known as Avago Technologies) where he led the successful turnaround of its semiconductor operation. Prior to that time, he served as chairman and CEO of Oak Technology, a digital media semiconductor company providing solutions for the consumer electronics markets. Prior to Oak Technology, Mr. Sohn worked as President of Quantum Corporation, a data storage solution products manufacturer. Mr. Sohn also worked at Intel Corporation managing the Samsung-Intel strategic partnership. While with Intel, he started the company’s PC chipset business unit. Additionally, he currently is a board member for ARM Holding PLC, and Cymer, Inc. Mr. Sohn earned a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
