Lane Cove, Australia / Phoenix, AZ / Nashua, NH – NextComputing, manufacturer of high-performance portable and small form-factor servers and workstations, has announced partnerships with Tough Corp Australia and Tough Corp USA as new value-added resellers (VARs) for its family of rugged portable field servers. Specializing in the sales and integration of rugged laptops, tablets and PDAs to government, military and mining industries, Tough Corp is ideally positioned to expand NextComputing’s market to new users who require performance and features beyond these types of mobile devices.

NextComputing’s Vigor series rugged portable computers are designed to run complex applications in challenging environments. Unlike laptops that offer portability but lack performance, or rack-mount servers that are not intended for transport, the Vigor family combines portability and performance for demanding users in the field. Applications such as geospatial analysis, UAV ground control, military simulation and training, mission planning, and 3D engineering are ideally suited for these hardened, capable systems.
