Dallas Logic’s FMC-ADC01, based on Texas Instrument’s ADS64xx family of analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), supports both 12- and 14-bit devices with sample rates ranging from 65 MSPS to 125 MSPS. Seven front bezel MMCX connectors and a low pin count (LPC) FMC connector provide the module’s off-board connectivity. In addition to the four A/D inputs, the module has an external clock input, synchronization input, and synchronization output. A flexible SPI or fixed resistor interface supports the ADC’s customizable configuration. Users can select either an on-board clock oscillator or provide an external LVPECL or LVCMOS clock source. Synchronization inputs and outputs support both LVPECL and LVCMOS standards. An HDL support package is available for rapid FPGA integration.
