Tysons Corner, VA – February 1, 2012 – AFCEA NOVA, the largest chapter in the AFCEA International family, today announced that its upcoming 10th Annual Air Force IT Day will be held on February 23rd, 2012, at the Tysons Corner Sheraton Premier. This conference offers a rare opportunity to learn firsthand about the challenges facing our Air Force, and gain insight into how your business can support the Air Force mission. This year’s theme is “Achieving Cyberspace Superiority: Supporting the National Security Strategy.”

Distinguished speakers who will share their insights include The Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force and The Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Plans, and Requirements (A3/5), among others.

“Now in its tenth year, the Air Force IT Day offers opportunities not found elsewhere,” said Chuck Corjay, Chairman of the AFCEA NOVA Air Force IT Day. “This is an opportunity to hear directly from distinguished Air Force leaders about their vision for the future, the shortfalls of their current capabilities, cyberspace warfare directions and requirements, their plans for executing the cyberspace mission, emerging technologies that they need, their acquisition strategies, and specific programs of direct interest to IT professionals.”

Industry executives, business developers, sales and marketing managers, technical design specialists, along with anyone who would like to better understand the needs of the Air Force, where you can help, and how these needs can help to grow your business can register for the event at www.afceanova.org/event/air-force-it-day/2012/0[…].
