* Quadros Systems introduced their VisualRTXC tool, which is a graphical system design front end for their RTOS. Using dataflow diagrams, designers can create code via templates and flowcharts. We’ll need a closer look at this one to find out what’s really under the hood, but it’s an attempt at graphical systems design we’ve been talking about.
More stories* Coverity talked about “Boolean satisfiability” added to their Prevent SQS static code analysis tools, really focused on reducing false positives. They also alluded to new tools coming in 208 for defect detection and assert solvers.
* ANT talked about their implementation of a 2.4GHz wireless sensor network with a “laser focus” on low power, low cost applications. They’ve got some traction in sports and health applications and claim over 1 million nodes deployed.
