Honeywell Launches New HMR3601 Three Axis Digital Compass Solution
Honeywell is proud to announce the launch of the new HMR3601. The HMR3601 is a three-axis digital compass solution with 0.5 degree typical heading accuracy and unique gyro stabilization to reduce effects of magnetic disturbances.
Features and Benefits:
• Precision compass accuracy- 0.5° typical heading accuracy across the full tilt and temperature specification range, 0.15° resolution.
• Max heading error- 1° at level from 0-50°C.
• Tilt-compensated- ± 80° pitch and roll range, < 0.5° tilt accuracy.
• Serial data interface- Asynchronous RS-232 interface, 4800 to 38400 bps.
• Small size and low weight for miniaturized applications- Compact Solution in a 1” x 1.04” x 0.54” module.
• Rugged construction- Designed for high mechanical shock tolerance.
Recommended applications include heading for handheld / worn optics, wearable information systems, vehicle heading, target locator heading, antenna pointing, weather station heading and UAV/AUV heading.
