PARIS, France, June 19, 2014 — Comrod, an international supplier of ruggedized communication equipment, is pleased to introduce the new CAPAS family of Automatic Payload Alignment Systems.

The patent pending CAPAS systems provide fast and accurate alignment of a wide range of antennas as well as non-antenna payloads such as cameras and sensors. Both single axis (rotation only) and 2-axis (rotation/elevation) systems are available. The CAPAS Integrated Mission Planning System software supports advanced planning of communication networks in time and space, including radio propagation analysis and frequency planning.

At Eurosatory Comrod will demonstrate how the CAPAS system enables fast and optimized deployment of a variety of communication platforms.

“By utilizing Comrod technology our customers can dramatically reduce deployment time for their area communication networks, while at the same time improving the network performance,” stated Ole Gunnar Fjelde, President and CEO of Comrod.

Comrod is exhibiting at Eurosatory at stand H231, where the new alignment systems are on display in addition to a range of our highly acclaimed antennas, power supplies and masts.
