The Spartan Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) is available in a variety of configurations, supporting a range of military, counter-terrorism and police operations, and is designed to cope with extremely difficult off-road conditions.

Completed on 8th July at STREIT’s Canadian manufacturing plant, Spartan unit 2,500 was shipped to the company’s HQ in Dubai two days later. Successful sales of Spartan and other innovative armored vehicles have generated rapid growth for STREIT Group over the last 10 years.

“Spartan has been in production for 7 years and has had time to prove its performance and reliability in the field,” says Guerman Goutorov, CEO of STREIT Group, “This milestone achievement not only shows the success of Spartan, but demonstrates the design is proven and trusted”. We have have seen continued repeat orders for this vehicle, which is testament to its solid performance and reliability.”

The group’s manufacturing division, STREIT Manufacturing Inc, has an impressive history in Canada. Set up in 1992 by CEO and founder, Guerman Goutorov, it began as a 2,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, expanding to 35,000 sq ft by 2000. Moving forward STREIT Group has finalised designs to expand Production and Operations in Canada with a 75,000 sq ft expanded facility to meet future production needs by 2015.

Capacity has been a vital factor in STREIT Group’s success, as Guerman Goutorov explains: “Our customers need to have confidence that the vehicles they order will be delivered in the numbers needed and at the time needed. The size and efficient operation of our 12 production facilities around the globe allows us not only to meet tight deadlines but to produce vehicles at cost-effective prices.”

He adds: “Our achievements also depend on the commitment and skill of our team, and I would like to thank them all for the contribution they have made.”
