This solar powered UHF RFID tag provides reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor applications.
This solar powered tag, model 116421, features an ultra-capacitor combination power source, light weight and high durability. It operates over a frequency range of 860 MHz to 960 MHz and has a read range of up to 75 feet (22 m) depending on the reader, environment and other factors. It is compliant with the ISO 18000-6C standard and provides a memory capacity of 1064 bit non-volatile memory or 720 bit user memory or 96-bit EPC numbers.
This tag uses no battery. It uses a capacitor with a virtually unlimited life cycle coupled with a state-of-the- art, high-efficiency solar cell. It takes approximately two minutes to fully charge the capacitor on a sunny day or using direct light from a halogen or sodium lamp. In addition, its IP67 protection allows this ultra-high frequency RFID tag to withstand the harshest outdoor environments, as well as, shock, vibration, dust, water, oil, chemicals and other hazardous materials.
This light weight UHF Gen 2 RFID tag belongs to GAO’s family of General Asset Monitoring Tags.
