Toronto, Canada – GAO Fiber Optics (www.GAOFiberOptics.com) recommends its compact, energy-saving visible fault locator (GAO811). This visible red laser diode fault locator is specifically used to find faults in fiber jumpers, patch panels, enclosures, connectors and couplers. It is an ideal tool for use in optical network installation and maintenance.

The handheld laser source fault locator overcomes the usual limitation of the dead zone of an OTDR and detects fiber fault positions accurately. The fault locator uses visible light to indicate the location of faults from a macro bend point, break, problem coupler or connector, or a mechanical splice that is not well aligned.

For m information about this visible fault locator, please visit www.GAOFiberOptics.com or contact [email protected].
