Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc.’s ( www.GAOTek.com ) protocol RFID converter (GAORB-4G) is a cost-effective device designed to convert 1-4E1 to 10/100 Base-T Ethernet. It is used to perform transmission of Jumbo Frames specified in IEEE 802.1Q standard and Ethernet switches with VLAN capability. The converter is also used to convert Ethernet data frames into HDLC frames that can be transferred on WAN.

GAO’s protocol converter supports transparent transmission of Ethernet frames through 1-4 E1 links with an extension of the Ethernet connection distance. This RB-4G converter provides flexible configuration and extends bandwidth up to 7.68Mbps to ensure high data transmission. It is automatically E1 fault-tolerant, simple to maintain and performs well in both full and half duplex modes. In addition, the converter supports auto-inspection of effective E1 channel without interruption of data transfer and will only reduce the data throughput if part of the E1-channel fails.
