Pentair Announces AS9100 Certification Renewal for its San Diego Manufacturing Facility of Schroff Retainers

SAN DIEGO – October 30, 2017 – Pentair announces that its San Diego manufacturing facility has been awarded AS9100 Revision D renewal. This certification continues to provide customers with the confidence they are receiving a high-quality products produced within a quality management system that meets stringent aviation, space and defense requirements.

AS9100 is an International Standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization must demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system. This includes processes for continuous improvement of the system, risk assessment and the assurance of conformity to AS9100 requirements.

The renewal demonstrates Pentair’s continued commitment to the highest levels of product quality demanded by the AS9100 requirements. The San Diego facility is also ISO9001 certified. These certifications apply to Pentair’s Schroff brand of PCB Retainers which includes the Calmark and Birtcher product lines.
