Quinly Also Continues as President, Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing
LEESBURG, VA – December 18, 2007 — Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing, a leading designer and manufacturer of rugged deployed commercial off-the-shelf products for the aerospace and defense market, has announced the promotion of Tom Quinly to the position of Senior Vice President, Curtiss-Wright Controls. In addition to this new role, Mr. Quinly will also continue as President for the Embedded Computing Division. Mr. Quinly reports directly to David Adams, President, Curtiss-Wright Controls.

Mr. Quinly has 25 years experience in the defense, aerospace and commercial sectors. He has held various operating and financial positions with the leading defense electronics companies, including Lockheed-Martin, Allied Signal Aerospace and Advanced Technology Laboratories, a premier medical electronics manufacturer.
In 1997, Mr. Quinly joined Dy4 Systems where he advanced through positions of increasing responsibility in operations, finance and general management before becoming President in 2001. He joined Curtiss-Wright Controls in March 2004 with its acquisition of Dy4. Shortly after the acquisition, Mr. Quinly assumed the position of President for the Embedded Computing group of companies, including Vista Controls, Lau Defense Systems, Systran, Primagraphics, Dy4 Systems, Peritek and Synergy Microsystems. In this position, he was responsible for integrating the embedded computing business units under a cohesive brand name in the defense COTS and defense systems marketplace.
Mr. Quinly holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology from Utah State University and an MBA from St. Edwards University in Austin , TX .
