The first and only operating system certified to EAL6+ High Robustness in accordance with the international Common Criteria security standard:
INTEGRITY was designed from the ground up to achieve the highest level of security – EAL7. NIAP awarded the certification after years of rigorous evaluation, including verification of formal methods that mathematically prove security, and penetration testing by the experts at the NSA who had complete access to the operating system source code.
The Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) reflects the degree of confidence in the level of security claimed. EAL6+ High Robustness corresponds to “security services and mechanisms that provide the most stringent protection and rigorous security countermeasures.” Only an EAL6+ High Robustness operating system is certified to protect classified information and other high value resources from attack by hostile and well-funded attackers.
In contrast, the vast majority of IT products and operating systems available today are only certified to EAL4+. This level of security is appropriate for “inadvertent and casual attempts to breach the system security.”
