Briec-de-l´Odet, France, December 17th, 2007 – Interface Concept, a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of innovative industrial embedded computer products, introduces three XMC mezzanine processor cards featuring a choice of high performance Power Architecture based processors: MPC8548E, MPC7448 and MPC8641. The IC-PQ3-PMCc, IC-e6-PMCc and IC-xe6-XMCa are ideally suited for applications such as storage devices, routers, web switches, wireless infrastructures, image processing, and many others.

The IC-PQ3-PMCc is a feature-rich, high-speed communications solution. The processor is a 1GHz MPC8548E with four Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB-II ports, an on-board solid state flash drive and large DDR2 memory. It is an optimal solution ll three boards are designed for use in commercial, industrial and rugged environments; they are available with Linux and VxWorks drivers.
