OpenSystems Media (OSM), LLC today announced its upcoming E-cast on Leveraging DO-178C and Reusable Software for Modern Avionics Development, moderated by Chris Ciufo, Group Editorial Director, OpenSystems Media. DO-178C will soon be mandatory for avionics development and changes will be required throughout the industry. Among these changes, DO-178C has provisions for accepting modern software engineering practices, which enhance software reusability and reduce certification cost and risk. Engineers, system designers, users, and program managers are invited to participate in the E-cast covering the latest developments of DO-178C and reusable software from industry-leading experts.
This webinar focuses on explaining the Reusable Software Components (RSC) guidance provided in AC 20-148, and the emerging potential of these components in conjunction with DO-178C, to reduce the risks and costs associated with modern software practices. This webinar will also illustrate these concepts with practical application of the RSC guidance and examples where it has been leveraged.
DDC-I and HighRely will be available for a Q&A session immediately following the E-cast.
