Pachira IP (www.pachira.com), a leading technical intellectual property licensing firm, and Creative Integrated Systems, Inc. (CIS), an expert in all facets of VLSI design, have reached an agreement granting Pachira the exclusive right to represent CIS in enforcing and licensing a portfolio of its patents related to memory technologies such as ROM (read only memory), EEPROM (electrically erasable ROM) and flash memory. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“Based on our experience of the memory markets, it’s our belief that many of the patents held by CIS are being infringed on,” said Steven Adam, Vice President of Business Development for Pachira IP. “We intend to ensure that CIS is credited for its pioneering technology and is appropriately compensated by others for the use of its patented inventions, while expanding the markets and customer base for CIS’s technology.”
The memory technologies developed and patented by CIS can be used in a wide range of applications, from computing to gaming, data transfer and storage, and a host of digital products, at far lower costs than alternative technologies.
