Largest US defense contractor chooses AdvancedIO Systems for its real-time embedded connectivity solutions

Vancouver, BC – October 23, 2007 – AdvancedIO® Systems Inc., the leading provider of configurable 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) connectivity and packet processing solutions for real-time embedded systems, today announced an order for over $500,000 from Lockheed Martin Corporation. AdvancedIOs V1020 udpXG™ technology will be used by Lockheed for testing avionics systems for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Lockheed Martin is the largest provider of IT services, systems integration and training to the U.S. Government and the lead contractor on the multi-national F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program. This purchase follows earlier Lockheed orders of the

same AdvancedIO product.

“Lockheed Martin chose AdvancedIOs technology because of its ability to meet this programs high performance requirements,” said Abhay Paranjape, JSF International Program Manager for Australia and Canada. “AdvancedIO was also selected because of the flexibility of its standards-based products and their teams responsiveness while supporting us through the critical design phase.”

Rob Kraft, VP, Marketing for AdvancedIO, stated that “we are pleased that the largest defense contractor in the world has selected AdvancedIO Systems. Our contract with Lockheed Martin further validates that AdvancedIOs scalable and configurable technology is able to meet the immediate and evolving needs for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and standards-based high-speed connectivity in high-performance embedded systems.”

The V1020 udpXG™ is a 10GbE connectivity and packet processing solution optimized for embedded systems. It provides increased bandwidth at reduced processor utilization using a software interface based on open standards. Industries such as defense, aerospace, telecommunications, and others use AdvancedIO products to practically solve their emerging high-speed data movement challenges with a lower total cost of ownership.

About the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program

The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program is a United States-led multinational effort to build an affordable, next-generation, multi-role supersonic fighter aircraft. Canada has been an active partner in the JSF program since 1997, participating in the Concept demonstration Phase, the System Development and Demonstration phase and the final Production, Sustainment and Follow-on Development phase.
