A Canadian Innovation Leader is a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) that demonstrates specific advances in research and development within its industrial sector. This advance contributes to the wealth of the country, either from a corporate growth perspective, job creation, or through a particular investment in research and development that has improved the lives of Canadians. NRC-IRAP has been supporting D-TA Systems by helping them develop innovative technologies through technical and business advisory services as well as financial assistance.

D-TA Systems, founded by tech veteran Dr. Dipak Roy in 2007, is a leading manufacturer of high-end sensor processing solutions. The firm was established to develop and manufacture a high-end sensor processing system that directly connects the sensor signal to the computer for real-time data processing. D-TA’s 10- Gigabit Sensor Processing Systems are used in Defense, Wireless, and Test & Measurement applications for command, control, communication, intelligence and awareness.

D-TA’s 10-Gigabit network-attached sensor processing sub-systems drastically cut down the development time and deployment costs. “We are absolutely delighted to be the recipient of the CIL Award. Our 10-Gigabit network-attached sensor processing sub-systems allow clients to seamlessly upgrade their computing horsepower without affecting the security of their data or requiring more software development or system integration,” said Angsuman Rudra, CEO of D-TA Systems. “NRC-IRAP’s collaboration was essential for our project to succeed, due to high cost research and development.”
