HighRely of Phoenix, USA, announces the release of JumpReverse-178B and JumpReverse-254. HighRely’s new product/service offering enables the reverse engineering of avionics software and hardware to achieve DO-178B and/or DO-254 compliance. Reverse engineering to DO-178B enables existing COTS software, military software, or commercial avionics software to be reverse engineered to DO-178B standards. For hardware, JumpReverse-254 allows COTS hardware, military hardware or commercial avionics hardware to be reverse engineered to achieve DO-254 standards. Reverse engineering DO178B and DO254 begins with a HighRely Gap Analysis to analyze the gaps in your DO-254 or DO-178B related processes, e.g. determine the shortcomings in your existing process and development environment with respect to DO-178B and DO-254. DO-178B checklists are then applied to avionics requirements, design, code, tests, reviews, and artifacts. Shortcomings in DO-178B and DO-254 are addresses by HighRely’s avionics engineers and the certification package and artifacts are developed to D0178B and D0254 standards. Additional avionics requirements, design elements for coupling and robustness are addressed, detailed code reviews performed, structural and robustness testing are performed, and avionics DERs review the artifacts for completeness. Tools and products from HighRely’s vendor partners are applied including Green Hills Software, Vector Software, Esterel, Polyspace, and TNI. The ensuing package is finalized for formal certification. Mr. Tony Baghai, former FAA DER and President of HighRely states: “JumpReverse-178B/254 has huge implications for the marketplace. For the first time ever, all the tools and services for reverse engineering DO-178B and DO-254 applications can be obtained from one source: HighRely Inc.”
