ARBOR Technology has launched the latest industrial grade rugged tablet PCs – Gladius G0720/G0820, and they will be ready for shipment in December. G0720 is built with the Intel Atom Z520PT and GMA500 graphics controller. Featuring the ultra-low power consumption, plus the passive cooling system design, G0720 has great heat dissipation capability and stability that makes it suitable for various applications. G0720 equips 2 Li-battery packs, which support system operating time up to 8 hours and hot swappable function. Also, with the 7” TFT sunlight readable touch panel, G0720 offers customers excellent displaying quality both indoor and outdoor.
G0720 equips devices like Ethernet and 32GB SSD, which provides low power consumption and better system efficiency with the anti-shock feature, as well as abundant connecting devices such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.75G HSUPA and GPS. Through the multi-connection feature, customers can then check e-mail, transmit and inquire data anywhere, anytime; and receive the real-time transportation information, which meets most demands for field operation. Besides the standard interfaces, G0720 offers optional data retrieving devices that include RFID reader, barcode scanner, MSR (Magnetic Stripe Reader) and auto focus CMOS camera. Customers are able to choose devices depends on their needs. And for those who have requirement of broader touch panel, the G0820, which has the same specifications as G0720 but with 8.4” screen, will be the ideal choice.
Considering the environment factor in different applications, the rugged design of G0720 not only qualifies the MIL-STD-810G but also meets the IP54 grade. Also, G0720 can stand 4 feet height transit drop and still works normally that makes is suitable for industrial market. With the built-in 8 user-defined function keys and numeric keypad below the screen, customers can conveniently process data-entry wherever they are.
