BROCKTON, MA, May 3, 2005 – Carlo Gavazzi Computing Solutions is pleased to announce that Mads Lillelund joined the company as Chief Executive Officer on April 19, 2005. Mr. Lillelund brings to Carlo Gavazzi over 14 years of senior management and executive experience in the telecom infrastructure sector. Most recently Mr. Lillelund served as Executive Vice President of World Wide Sales and Services at Enterasys Networks, a leader in the enterprise data networking market in Andover, MA. In this role, Mr. Lillelund was responsible for generating over $400M in annual revenues.
From 1991 to 2001 Mr. Lillelund held many key executive roles at Lucent Technologies in Belgium, Ireland, and the United States. Mr. Lillelund was Managing Director of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for the Global Commercial Markets Division where he established the European headquarters in Dublin, Ireland and managed sales and operations in 22 countries. Among his achievements at Lucent, the telecom leader that spun out of AT&T, Mr. Lillelund built one of the most profitable businesses in the region and pioneered market development and sales in Russia and Eastern Europe. Mr. Lillelund earned an MBA degree from the American Graduate School of International Management, Thunderbird Campus in Arizona and a B.S. degree in business from Baylor University in Texas.
