SPRINGFIELD, Va.–May 16, 2006–Cornet Technology Communications (CTC), the network communications solutions division of Cornet Technology, Inc. (CTI), announced its Celero CVME-7410 solution at the Military Embedded Electronics and Computing Conference (MEECC). The conference takes place on May 16 and 17, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach, California. The company will be exhibiting at booth #20.

Cornet Technology’s Celero CVME-7410, a multi-processor VME board, exhibits high throughput and low latency to support a wide variety of intricate military and aerospace applications that require multi-processing power. The Celero CVME-7410 features up to four independent PowerPC nodes linked by a PCI bus on a single VME board to help designers of military and aerospace embedded systems handle complicated processing functions. These functions can include image processing, digital signal processing, sonar control, and radar control.

The Celero CVME-7410 supports LINUX and is the first VME board to support the VxWorks Safety Critical platform. This enables system designers to develop systems that are compliant with ARINC-653 and DO-178B, which are recommended and often mandated by military and avionics projects. Unlike other vendors, Cornet Technology offers custom engineering and environment test services to customers regardless of the quantity of hardware purchased.

Thomas Bennett, president, Cornet Technology Communications division, said, “Cornet Technology is fully committed to providing products for the high-end COTS solutions market. Our long-standing relationship with the United States military, combined with the extensive experience our personnel exhibits in this market, makes introducing a VME board into the military embedded systems market the next logical step in our corporate strategy. Over the next 12 months, as part of our comprehensive product roadmap, we plan to roll out a number of products that incorporate FPGA and switch-fabric technologies.”

Cornet Technology has worked with the United States military for more than 15 years providing extensive communications products and services to United States Army forts across the country and U.S. Navy battle ships.

Pricing and Availability

The Celero VME-7410 will be available for shipping early in Quarter 3 2006 at a starting price of $14,995. Please visit www.cornet.com or call 703-658-3400 for additional information.
