The Radisys Microware OS-9 for PowerPC is a complete solution designed for OEMs who are developing embedded, real-time applications for the defense, aerospace, and industrial automation markets. Radisys has enhanced the Microware OS-9 for PowerPC solution with expanded support for the MVME2100, MVME2403/4, MVME5100, MVME5500, and MVME6100 series of VME SBCs.

Enhancements include a new dual IPv6/IPv4 network stack, POSIX threads, and Borland’s CodeWright 7.5 for the Hawk IDE. Using Radisys’ Microware OS-9, there is no need to validate the development tools with the operating system software. Instead, developers can spend their precious time designing intellectual property and features that differentiate their products.
