Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) July 12, 2007 — AdvancedIO™ Systems Inc., the leading provider of configurable, 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) connectivity and packet processing solutions for real-time embedded systems, today announced the re-launch of its website, www.advancedio.com. This redesigned website markedly improves the ability of customers to quickly find information about AdvancedIO’s products and services and the value that they can bring to their organizations.

“This new website supports our growing business and increasing base of top-tier embedded-space customers,” said Rob Kraft, VP of Marketing at AdvancedIO. “It has been architected to be easily navigable and to explain the features and benefits of our products such as the V1020 udpXG™ and V1020 streamXG™ modules.”

AdvancedIO’s flagship products, the V1020 udpXG™ and V1020 streamXG™, are the only commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) 10GbE intelligent XMC/PMC mezzanine modules on the market. The V1020 udpXG is a 10GbE packet and data processing engine that functions as a high-speed open-standards-based data pipe. The module ships with software and firmware that improve system performance by offloading communication protocol stacks from embedded processors while presenting a standard sockets-based software interface to the developer. The V1020 streamXG facilitates direct high-speed streaming of data between 10GbE and other input/output devices, such as analog-to-digital converters. The V1020 hardware is based on reprogrammable Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology to allow the aggregation of other functions such as packet inspection, load balancing and signal processing. In addition, the module’s reconfigurability provides the benefits of customization and the flexibility to add new functions as requirements evolve. The modules support PCI-X and PCI Express® (PCIe).

In addition to a new look and feel, the updated website offers a Library section featuring AdvancedIO’s recent magazine articles about 10GbE connectivity in today’s embedded systems (www.advancedio.com/library/). As well, a new Applications section (www.advancedio.com/applications/) shows how AdvancedIO technologies are used to solve connectivity problems in defense and commercial applications, including Embedded Test, Radar, and Signals Intelligence. This new website also includes enhanced coverage of AdvancedIO’s products (www.advancedio.com/products/) and an expanded listing of AdvancedIO’s worldwide sales channel and representatives (www.advancedio.com/company/contact.asp).
