Participants can submit original project ideas and enter as teams with a maximum of up to five people. Each design proposal must include an Altera® FPGA and will be judged for its market value, design complexity and quality of execution. The top 100 semifinalists receive educational material, design software and FPGA boards, which the teams will use to convert their product ideas into prototypes. The top 15 finalists will present their business plans and working product prototypes at the Innovate finals during the annual APOGEE 2007 techfest at BITS Pilani in March 2007.
