Orlando, FL (August 9, 2011) – The DiSTI Corporation, a leading provider of advanced graphical user interface technology, has been recognized as a Top 100 Company for Working Families by the Orlando Sentinel, a program which seeks to highlight the Central Florida companies that strive each and every day to maintain a favorable balance for their employee’s lifestyles, through comprehensive and creative benefits, packages and programs.
DiSTI was specifically recognized as a Top 100 Company for comprehensive core benefits, a motivational work atmosphere, community involvement and numerous unique employee benefits. Each year, this honor is given to 100 Central Florida businesses. The final list is composed of two size categories with 50 companies each: 249 employees or less and 250 employees or more. The Top 100 application consists of a series of questions to determine the benefits provided in categories of core benefits, family-related benefits, work environment, communication, and training. The companies are then chosen by an independent panel of local human resources experts that review and analyze the applications, support documentation, and nomination letters submitted by employees and score the companies on a point basis.

The Top 100 Companies for Working Families were formally recognized at an awards luncheon on Friday, August 5 at the Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando, Florida and in the August 7 edition of the Orlando Sentinel.
