Sunnyvale, CA–PCI-SYSTEMS Inc. , a leading supplier of conduction cooled systems, today announced a new line of Power Supplies, using the newly developed BlackDELTA chassis.
The PCI Systems rugged 2,200 Watt conduction cooled DC/DC Converter chassis is a high efficiency isolated DC/DC switched-mode, single output converter, specifically designed for both military and commercial mobile applications.
This series is packaged in an unprecedented low profile 9.5”L x 9”W x 1.7”H mechanically enclosed package, weighing only 4lbs, making the unit ideal for harsh shock and vibration environments.
The BlackDELTA series integrates high efficiency AC/DC and DC/DC polyphase converters with active input transient removal and reverse polarity protection circuitry.
These converter chassis are designed with a wide operational temperature range and are well suited for a high temperature environment.
Also, the BlackDELTA Series DC/DC converter’s high efficiency and high power density are accomplished through the use of high-efficiency rectification technology, advanced electronic circuitry, packaging and thermal design resulting in a highly reliable product. The BlackDELTA series operates at a fixed switching frequency and follows conservative component de-rating guidelines.
The first BlackDELTA chassis has several options for input voltages, 9VDC to 36VDC non-isolated booster for 28V power conditioning and a wide range isolated AC input type with 4 outputs, capable of 550W each. Outputs are available for 28V or 48V.
Custom versions are available for different input voltages.
