The independent supplier of high performance embedded computers LinkeHope™ announces its new VPX payload single board computer named VP62105, a China Local-design, Local-manufacturing product. It’s a modular design, based on COMexpress® technology, up to 4-core i7 processor from Intel® Ivy Bridge family. VP62105 is designed to meet harsh environment applications like rural communication, military, medical and outdoor video processing.

VP62105 supports up to 3615QE, an Intel® 4-core processor. The 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 processors have a completely new microarchitecture, enabling small-sized designs to be created with unmatched computing power, graphics performance and energy efficiency on a small footprint.

VP62105 provides 4 Serial RapidIO (SRIO) x4 links for VPX Data Plane communication, 2 PCI express x8 channel for VPX Expansion Plane communication and 4 Gigabit Ethernet for VPX Control Plane communication. The rich data interchange options enable potential customers a much easier integration path for box level or system level solution designs.

With up to 16GB ECC memory, up to 64GB onboard SLC flash storage, and rugged conduction cooling design, VP62105 ensures high reliability that makes it best fit for Radar, Sonar, Command & Control, Video surveillance, and other on-board/on-vehicle performance computing applications.

Integrated with Intel® HD4000 graphic controller, VP62105 supports Dual-head, Multi-head display output, including VGA, DVI, DP and HDMI. Maximum output resolution is designed as 2560×1600. In case higher graphic processing powers are requested, VP62105 uses AMD E4690 or E6760 GPU as a replacement.

The most outstanding advantage of VP62105 is its modular design, whenever and whatever I/O feature set change request is submitted by a customer, LinkedHope™ is able to deliver working samples of a customized VP62105 in 4-6 weeks!

LinkecHope™ developed VP62105 Board-Support-Package (BSP) for VxWorks 5.5/6.8 operating system, as expands its OS support list: Windows®, Linux and QNX.

Other feature sets of VP62105 includes, 8 USB ports, 3 Serial communication ports, 2 SATA ports, and one XMC/PMC for more functionality expansion.
