Toronto, Canada–GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) has launched its compact and light-weight data communication tester (GAOCE5009), which is a multi-purpose tester designed for communication, maintenance and trouble-shooting of digital networks. It carries out both framed and unframed tests on equipment such as primary multiplexers, digital cross connects and automatic protection switching and circuits at speed between 50bit/s and 2048kbit/s.

This portable data communication tester integrates four data interfaces and G.703 Co-dir 64kbit/s and G.703-2Mkbit/s interfaces. It transmits data synchronously or asynchronously on each interface; as well, it provides an error analysis function featuring display of histograms for errors or alarms. In addition, the test results can be saved to onboard memory and accommodations for future interfaces have been considered.

For more information about GAOCE5009 data communication tester, please visit www.GAOComm.com or contact [email protected].
