Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) recommends its UHF Reader Series (GAO227004). These technologically advanced UHF RFID readers are long-range interrogators, which are widely used in applications such as identification, tracking, and localization of assets and personnel. The readers in this series provide reliable wireless data collection of up to 2,000 tags simultaneously.

Advanced UHF radio frequency technology enables the RFID readers to transmit and receive data at distances of up to 300 feet even with rapidly moving tags. Preinstalled software in the readers provides data preprocessing for increased communication speed. The bus (RS 422 or RS 485) permits daisy-chaining of several readers to a host interface and also provides for only one connection to power supply and data transmission. Additionally, drivers for various operating systems allow flexible and hardware-independent applications.
