Enhance Technology introduces EnhanceBOX E4 MS & E8 MS Series

Enhance Technology, a pioneer and leader in hybrid I/O technologies and storage systems has launched the next generation EnhanceBox E Series line of external SAS & SATA disk arrays, the most powerful and cost efficient storage solution for desktop applications. Equipped with the latest Mini-SAS SFF-8088 connectivity, the elegantly designed E Series further expands Enhance Technologys position as the leader in developing and providing high performance desktop storage solutions for IT managers, content creators, & SOHO users.

The new EnhanceBOX Mini-SAS series comes in 4-drive E4 MS & 8-drive E8 MS that support high capacity SAS and SATA I/II 3Gbps HDDs using the latest Mini-SAS connectivity. Depending on the host cards, the EnhanceBOX MS Series can be configured either as JBOD or RAID capable of sustaining data transfer rates up to 550MB/sec on RAID-0 and 400MB/sec on RAID-5. The EnhanceBOX E4 MS and E8 MS Series are constructed with aluminum material for maximum cooling capacity, ultra-quiet cooling fan and power supply, and individual keylocks for each HDD drive tray.

Available in four or eight port configurations with built-in backplanes that utilize the emergence of either Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) or Serial ATA (SATA) 3Gbp/s HDDs, the EnhanceBOX MS Series comes with power and activity LED indicators on the door and a wide variety of hot swappable components such as cooling fans & HDD trays that empower the E Series to be the most versatile desktop storage systems in the market. EnhanceBOX MS series achieves Fibre Channel speed at SATA price and is the ideal storage solution for OEM, VAR, storage solution providers and professional video editors.
