134.2kHz Handheld FDX RFID Reader for Pets

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) has released its handheld, low frequency FDX RFID reader (GAO222005) specially designed to track and manage animal and has been frequently used to track pets.

This small sized, portable LF (134.2 KHz) reader is easy to use because of its one button operation, thus professional or non-professional alike can use this apparatus to read electronic data on any pet injected or otherwise tagged with an electronic RFID transponder. This RFID reader provides a big LCD to display data clearly, and it can be powered by 9V Alkali battery or adaptor. GAO’s LF RFID pet reader supports a memory capacity of 256Kbit and it has a read range from 0 to 40mm. The reader offers auto-power-off function to ensure a long battery lifespan.

Furthermore, this reader’s power consumption condition is as follows: less than 2W in reading state and 0W in idle state.
