BRIDGEWATER, NJ, January 8, 2009 – DSPCon, Inc., a leading, global supplier of data acquisition, analysis, archiving and recording solutions for high-value military, aerospace and rotating machinery applications, today announced that it has significantly strengthened its world-class engineering team with the appointment of Anatoly (Toly) Kotlarsky in the newly created role of director of engineering and the promotion of C. Peter Bandy to product development manager.
Widely known throughout the engineering community, Mr. Kotlarsky will spearhead DSPCon’s international growth initiative through new product innovation and engineering leadership. He will oversee all hardware, software and systems engineering management activities and brings more than 20 years of engineering and business experience to the Company. He is a recognized industry expert in the fields of real-time system design and development, digital signal and image processing, embedded systems, database engines, and data compression.

Prior to joining DSPCon, Mr. Kotlarsky served as manager of advanced development engineering at Metrologic Instruments (now part of Honeywell). Prior to that, he served in a variety of senior-level software development roles at Robotic Vision Systems, Franklin Electronic Publishers and Stelex, Inc. The holder of numerous patents, Mr. Kotlarsky received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Taganrog University of Radio and Technology in Russia and an executive MBA, with honors, from the LeBow College of Business, Drexel University.
Pete Bandy brings almost a decade of product development experience to DSPCon. He most recently has been responsible for managing the Company’s MultiScopeTM product line. In his new position, Mr. Bandy will be responsible for accelerating the development of all of the Company’s new product initiatives as well as managing the Company’s existing product portfolio. He will also oversee the day-to-day management of DSPCon’s software development and hardware product engineering groups.

Prior to joining DSPCon, Mr. Bandy held the position of lead test design engineer with Five Rivers Electronic Innovations, LLC (a division of Taylor-White). He is a 24-year veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve who retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Bandy holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee and earned bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and chemistry from Auburn University and Temple University, respectively.
