(NASDAQ: MRCY, www.mrcy.com) announced it received a $3.1 million order from a manufacturer of commercial space technology solutions for high reliability radio frequency (RF) microelectronics modules designed and screened to space-level performance standards. The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2018 second quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.
The Company has a forty year heritage in the design and manufacturing of space-qualified RF and microwave components, modules and highly integrated subsystems for defense prime contractors, government agencies and commercial companies. Mercury’s space-qualified RF microelectronics have been successfully deployed in a wide range of applications including satellites, spacecraft and rover vehicles operating on Mars.
