Dean has a long history with VITA, dating back to 2004 when he began participating in VITA as Technical Editor of the VITA 46 working group while at Mercury Systems. In 2011, the membership elected Dean as Chairman of VITA Standards, where he leads the bimonthly standards meetings; he also guides the working groups through the standards-development process.

I am pleased to be able to apply my experience building international teams, driving process/quality improvements, and ensuring customer success to help VITA continue leading the industry in producing open interoperability standards to enable future system designs.”
