FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz., Nov. 2, 2006 —OpenSystems Publishing (OSP), LLC, today announced a new E-site, VME Now, focused on VME technology, offering a cutting-edge supplement to its pioneer publication, VMEbus Systems magazine.

The comprehensive vmenow.com E-site comprises blogs and opinions, live VME industry RSS newsfeeds, major milestones, and contributed articles from VMEbus Systems magazine and other related publications. The site offers visitors a great way to stay in touch with and to contribute to the VME industry. The vmenow.com E-site is accessible at www.vmenow.com.

The topic of VME was chosen for OpenSystems Publishing’s first E-site because 2006 marks the 25th anniversary of VME technology. VME technology is experiencing a surge of breakthrough innovation that OpenSystems Publishing is dedicated to communicating to the VME industry. Working closely with VITA, OpenSystems Publishing will focus on providing readers the news of VME technology transitions, changes, markets, as well as business climate.

“VITA is excited to see this new channel of communications for the industry. So much of what is communicated today is via the internet. This gives the VME industry a great new tool for communication,” said Ray Alderman, executive director of VITA.
