FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz., December 9, 2010 — OpenSystems Media (OSM), LLC today announced its upcoming E-cast on Designing with ARM-based microcontrollers. The market shift towards ARM based MCUs is happening all over the embedded design world. With more than 200 Kinetis MCUs, Freescale enables scalable performance, market-leading mixed-signal integration, and ultra-low power consumption ideal for consumer and industrial applications.

The discussion will include integration features of the new Kinetis 32-bit MCU family, features of the ARM Cortex-M4 core, and what the advantages are for designing with an MCU based on it. The unique FlexMemory capability and how it enables enhanced EEPROM with more than 10M Write/Erase cycles will also be discussed. Learn how to take advantage of these and many other unique features that address top design issues today and will help differentiate end product solutions. A powerful suite of enablement software and tools that will ease the development process and speed time to market will also be unveiled.
