The project deployed Ethernet Direct’s “Hybrid” solution from upgrading the traditional old analog surveillance system to IP ready solution wherein “cost effective solution” is needed. In the Metro Station, the administration would like to keep the old CCTV cameras because these were just been replaced a year ago. After evaluating the project, Ethernet Direct offered a “Hybrid” video surveillance solution. The existing CCTV cameras were connected to OVS-100 & 400 Video Server to make all the cameras become IP ready while HMG-628GIndustrial gigabit switches were deployed for station wide connection and the JMG-24F4 for the centre Ethernet connection in the metro station control center. The control center has 1 set of NVR server connected with the external disk array to manage and control of the cameras and records the surveillance videos.
