With the availability of ever more capable microcontrollers, software development for these devices has become increasingly complex over the years. Use of Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS) is rapidly becoming an industry best practice, and usage of commercial middleware as well as reuse of custom libraries is gaining importance for cost-efficient software engineering. With Keil MDK Version 5, ARM has created a solution that uses a new standard for component-based software development, simplifying reuse of components and project maintenance.

This webinar will give an overview of the new Software Pack technology and how it is used in MDK Version 5 to efficiently develop embedded applications for microcontrollers based on ARM Cortex-M processors.
