Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) recommends its 433MHz rugged RFID asset tag (GAO124017) generally used for outdoor asset tagging applications. This active RFID tag is ideally suited for operating on metallic surface or plastics containing a high metal content.

GAO’s 433MHz active RFID rugged asset tag is encapsulated in a moulded plastic case in order to protect against adverse environmental conditions. The smart tag transmits Radio Frequency (RF) signals at pre-set time-intervals for the duration of its life. This RFID tag offers configurable settings including customer site code, tag ID, tag age, counter value, movement alarm and tamper alarm status. It offers a transmission range of 0 to 50m depending on antenna configuration. In addition, the tag can be configured to accommodate Wiegand interfacing.

For more information about GAO’s 433MHz active RFID rugged asset tag, please visit www.GAORFID.com or contact [email protected].
